I teach band, choral and guitar at Ernestown Secondary School, just west of Kingston. I teach the I/S Music Curriculum course at the Queen's faculty of Education and I am the founder and director of    www.open-voices.org  .   I have  a strong interest in contemporary Canadian acoustic singer/songwriters.  

I have been teaching with the TDSB since 1997, originally Strings and now primarily Vocal.  I have taught at J.B. Tyrrell/Sir John A. Macdonald C.I., North Toronto C.I., Dr. Norman Bethune C.I. and am now at Riverdale C.I.  

I have sung with the Bell'Arte Singers since 1997, first under the direction of Lee Willingham and now with Gerard Yun.  

I am a huge advocate of student leadership in Music and encourage students to attend OELC.
