What is the OVF Vocal Jazz Workshop?

The OVF Vocal Jazz Workshop is a workshop for teachers interested in learning more about Jazz Choirs.

When and where is it being held?

The Vocal Jazz Workshop will take place Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Unionville High School in Markham.

Who are the clinicians?

This year's clinicians are Heather Bambrick and Brenda Uchimaru.  The Unionville High School Jazz Choir will serve as the demonstration group.

Sessions Include:
Reading Session (music provided for pre-registered participants)
Warm ups for jazz choir
Q & A
Working with a rhythm section
Microphone technique
Rehearsal/performance techniques Improvisation

Lunch is provided to all participants who pre-register.
